Congratulations to our 2024 recipient of the John Ebert Excellence in Leadership and Initiative Award, Bruce Cerny! As a Field Supervisor in Bluefield, West Virginia, Bruce displays extreme leadership and demonstrates the ability to be an effective, intelligent, and competent foreman. He shows high integrity and honesty while analyzing and solving problems and goes above and beyond to deliver a safe product to our customers. Bruce always sees the good in bad situations and his positive attitude is unmatched. Bruce is “all in” and his commitment and dedication to a quality job and the success of UPL is unrivaled. Bruce motivates and inspires others in the way that he handles his home life and work. With Bruce’s well-rounded people skills and creativity, he is able to help everyone achieve their goals in a safe manner. His expertise in equipment operation and leadership of his crew have improved and enhanced UPL and the Bluefield operation. Congrats again, Bruce!
